Follow-up emails after an interview

Questions people ask
How long should I wait before following up?
Until the day after the date they gave you. If they gave none, about a week. Following up sooner reads as pressure; much later, and they may have moved on.
How many times should I follow up?
Twice at most after the thank-you: one status check and one last note. After that, keep applying elsewhere; silence is usually an answer.
Email or call?
Email, unless the recruiter has been calling you. It is easier to answer, and the date and details are in writing.
