Getting started
BananaJobz works from one thing: your resume. Everything else — the job feed, the match scores, the tailored versions — is built from what you put in it.
1. Add your resume
After you sign up, upload your resume as a PDF or build one from scratch. You review what was read from it before anything is saved, and it gets an ATS score so you can see how screening software will read it. What you confirm becomes your profile.
2. Answer the questions a resume can't
In Settings › Account › Application answers, set your work authorization, whether you need visa sponsorship, whether you would relocate, and your salary expectation and notice period. The job feed uses them to show only jobs you can take, and the extension uses them to fill forms. Anything left blank stays blank.
3. Find jobs
Jobs is your feed, scored against your profile. Open a job to see how you fit it, what the role asks for, and what the company is like. See how match scores work.
4. Tailor and apply
From a job, BananaJobz tailors your resume and writes a cover letter for that posting — rephrased and reordered from your own experience, never invented. Apply on the company's site with the Chrome extension filling the form, or line jobs up in the apply queue.
5. Track it
Every application lands on the Applications board, where you move it from applied to interview to offer.
