Summary

B.E. Electronics and Communication graduate (2025) aiming for an Embedded Engineer role, skilled in C, C++ and Python on ESP32 and STM32. Built a solar inverter monitor that ran on the department roof for 60 days.

Education

Skills

Languages: C, C++, Python

Boards: ESP32, STM32, Arduino

Protocols: UART, I2C, SPI

Tools: KiCad, Linux, oscilloscope

Projects

Solar inverter monitor | ESP32, C++, KiCad | Team of 3Mar 2025

A monitor that reads voltage, current and temperature from a 1 kW solar inverter and shows them on a phone.

Wrote the ESP32 firmware in C++ (sensors over I2C, display over SPI) and designed the two-layer PCB in KiCad.

Ran on the department’s rooftop inverter for 60 days and caught two overheating events the old panel missed.

DC motor speed control | STM32, C | SoloOct 2024

Wrote bare-metal C on an STM32 to hold a DC motor at set speeds with PID control, tuned over UART from a laptop.

Measured the response on an oscilloscope: settling time went from 1.2 s to 0.3 s after tuning.

Internship

Embedded Intern, Voltgrid, CoimbatoreMay 2024 – Jul 2024

Wrote Python scripts on Linux that test sensor boards over UART, replacing a manual check of 50 boards a day.

Testing time per board fell from 6 minutes to 1.

Achievements

Ran an Arduino workshop for 80 first-year students at the IEEE student branch.

Why it works

  1. 1

    Name the chip and the bus

    “ESP32 firmware in C++, sensors over I2C” tells an embedded lead what you can do. “Worked on IoT” does not.

  2. 2

    Measure it

    Settling time, power draw, test time per board. Embedded work is measured; your bullets should be too.

  3. 3

    Python helps here too

    Python is the most-named skill in our count for this field, mostly for test scripts. A bullet with it is worth having.
