Solar dryer for grapes | SolidWorks, ANSYS | Team of 4Mar 2025
Designed a solar dryer for raisins in SolidWorks for a farmer group near Nashik, and checked airflow and temperature in ANSYS.
Built it for ₹18,000 with a local fabricator.
Drying time fell from 15 days in open sun to 8, with no dust losses.

Tracked rejections in Excel for 6 weeks; one fixture change cut a part’s rejection rate from 4% to 1.5%.
